Kast AI for LinkedIn: what the tool really does

Kast suggests a first draft in your voice, scores the post on four criteria, schedules it, then captures the people who reacted.

Kast AI for LinkedIn: what the tool really does

The question comes up in almost every demo: what does the AI in Kast actually do? The answer comes down to four things, and it's just as useful to say what it doesn't do.

It suggests a first draft

Plume starts from your projects and your past posts. You give it raw material, and it gives you back text written the way you write. It never publishes on its own, and it doesn't write in your place: you review and you make the call.

For what gives away generated text, see writing with AI without sounding like AI.

It scores before you publish

Four criteria: hook, structure, CTA, voice. Each one comes with what's off and what to change. That's the difference between a generator and a reviewer.

You can try it without an account with the post analyzer or work on your first line with the hook generator.

It schedules

LinkedIn and X from one calendar, at the time you choose. Threads is coming soon.

It captures the people who reacted

From a post's URL, Kast gathers the people who liked or commented, with their job title and company, and sends them to Lemlist, Instantly or a file.

What it doesn't do

It sends no private messages, comments on nothing in your name, and publishes nothing you haven't approved. If you're looking for fully automated prospecting, this isn't the right tool, and we're fine with that.

The logical next step is the publish, measure, capture loop.
